Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, educational background, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form) when you register for an account.
Payment Information: Transaction details processed through Razorpay. We do not store credit/debit card numbers — payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, device type, browser type, IP address, and referring URLs.
Communication Data: Emails, support requests, and feedback you send to us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide, maintain, and improve our educational services; process registrations for webinars and bootcamps; send OTP verification codes during registration; process payments and issue refunds; send service-related notifications (session reminders, certificate availability); respond to your inquiries and support requests; analyse usage patterns to improve the Platform; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on: your consent (provided during registration); contractual necessity (to deliver services you've signed up for); legitimate interests (platform security, fraud prevention, service improvement); and legal obligations (compliance with Indian law).

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
Payment Processors: Razorpay, for processing transactions securely.
Email Service Providers: For sending OTP codes and notifications.
Hosting Providers: Cloud infrastructure providers that host our Platform.

We implement industry-standard security measures including: encryption of passwords using bcrypt hashing; HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit; JWT-based authentication with token expiry; secure OTP verification for email validation; and access controls and regular security reviews. While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as payment records for tax compliance, which may be retained for up to 7 years).

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to: access your personal data held by us; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion of your account and personal data; withdraw consent for data processing; request a copy of your data in a portable format; and lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
