1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LAWversity ("Platform"), operated by LAWversity Education Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

LAWversity is a legal education platform that provides access to live webinars, intensive bootcamps, Supreme Court judgment summaries, legal news, study materials, and community features. Our services are educational in nature and do not constitute legal advice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Maintain the security of your account credentials. Accept responsibility for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

4. Payments & Refunds

Certain services, including bootcamps, may require payment. All payments are processed securely through Razorpay.

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase and before accessing more than 25% of the paid content. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days. Free webinars do not require payment.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on LAWversity — including but not limited to webinar recordings, study materials, judgment summaries, course content, logos, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to LAWversity and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

6. Judgment Summaries Disclaimer

Judgment summaries provided on the Platform are sourced from the Supreme Court of India's official website and are prepared by the Centre for Research & Planning, Supreme Court of India. These summaries do not form part of the Court's decision or reasons and are not intended for use in legal proceedings. They are provided solely for educational and informational purposes.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; share your account credentials with others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform; interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure; upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code; harass, abuse, or harm other users; or use the content for commercial purposes without authorization.

8. Certificates

Certificates issued upon completion of bootcamps are a recognition of participation and learning. They are issued at our discretion based on attendance and assessment criteria. Certificates do not represent a professional license or accreditation from any bar council or regulatory body.

9. Limitation of Liability

LAWversity provides educational content on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LAWversity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
