1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LAWversity ("Platform"), operated by Raegel Consulting and Research Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

LAWversity is a legal education platform that provides access to live webinars, Intensive Training Programs (ITPs), legal blogs, study materials, and community features. Our services are educational in nature and do not constitute legal advice. We offer both free and paid educational programs to bridge the gap between academic legal education and real courtroom practice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Maintain the security of your account credentials. Accept responsibility for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

4. Payments & Pricing

Certain services, including ITPs and premium webinars, may require payment. All payments are processed securely through EaseBuzz Payment Gateway, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.

By making a payment on LAWversity, you agree to the following:

4.1 Pricing: All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect existing confirmed registrations.

4.2 Payment Methods: We accept payments via Credit Cards, Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, and Wallets through our payment partner EaseBuzz. All payment information is encrypted and processed securely. LAWversity does not store your card details or banking credentials.

4.3 Payment Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation via email and on the Platform. Your registration will be confirmed only after payment verification.

4.4 Failed Transactions: If a payment fails or is declined, no amount will be deducted. In case of any erroneous deduction, the amount will be refunded within 5-7 business days as per banking norms.

4.5 Currency: All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) only.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please refer to our detailed Refund & Cancellation Policy for complete information. Key highlights:

5.1 Refund requests for paid sessions must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled session via email to contact@lawversity.in.

5.2 Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

5.3 No refund will be provided after the session has been conducted or after accessing the session materials.

5.4 Free webinars and free-tier content do not involve any payment and hence no refund applies.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on LAWversity — including but not limited to webinar recordings, study materials, blog posts, course content, logos, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to Raegel Consulting and Research Private Limited and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; share your account credentials with others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform; interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure; upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code; harass, abuse, or harm other users; or use the content for commercial purposes without authorization.

8. Certificates

Certificates of Topic Specialization issued upon completion of webinars or ITPs are a recognition of participation and learning. They are issued at our discretion based on attendance. Certificates do not represent a professional license or accreditation from any bar council or regulatory body.

9. Third-Party Services

LAWversity uses third-party services to facilitate its operations:

Payment Processing: EaseBuzz Payment Gateway. Your use of payment services is subject to EaseBuzz's terms and conditions. We do not store, process, or have access to your complete payment card details.

Communication: Telegram for community engagement. Email services for notifications and receipts. Use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

LAWversity provides educational content on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raegel Consulting and Research Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
